A premium alternative to the traditional but simple silk boxes or to the not very robust leatherette cases is this high-quality, stable and decorative Mahjong case made of Bubinga wood (Guibourtia spp., also known as "African Rosewood"). The wood is licensed for international trade.

The inside of the case is completely lined with dark red velours. The same velours protects the outside of the bottom from damages. A gold-coloured latch together with a likewise solid metal handle completes the design.

The case contains four trays for tiles and one additional tray for dice, counting sticks, blank tiles and the like (tiles and other playing material not included). All trays are lined with red velours as well.

Tiles of the size of 33x24x15mm fit perfectly; but also smaller tiles can be kept in - and even bigger tiles, if the trays are removed.

We use these very good crafted wooden cases for our first-class tile sets "Outlaws of the Marsh" and "Buddha's Hand".
