This genuine Chinese Mahjong set contains very big and heavy tiles made of ivory-coloured plastic.

The symbols are engraved and brightly colored. They can be easily identified even by people with decreasing sight. The character tiles show additional Western numbers. In addition to the Chinese symbols the wind tiles feature English initials. This makes it easy for beginners to become familiar with the Chinese symbols.

The back side of the tiles shows a restrained stripe pattern.

Wind indicator, dice and counting chips are made of plastic as well.

The inside of the very stable and light aluminium case is completely lined with dark red velours.
