This genuine Chinese Mahjong set contains tiles with a slightly convex back of bamboo; the front side is made of solid bone (no pressed bonemeal).

The symbols are engraved and brightly colored. The character tiles show additional Western numbers. In addition to the Chinese symbols the wind tiles feature English initials. This makes it easy for beginners to become familiar with the Chinese symbols.

Wind discs and dice are made of plastic.

The simply kept box is covered with blue brocade, interspersed with red-golden Chinese ornaments. At changing incidence of light beautiful glossy effects arise.
